Our client Happy Birthday SOS asked for a refreshed look for their landing page, showcasing clearly their services and increasing Instagram traffic being one of their most active ways of update.

How might we

Brainstorming…

Everything started with defining the right problem. We went through a discovery research process resulting with the problem space as shown in the picture.

Defining the problem

What our client asked:

  • Emphasize their brand identity in digital world.

  • Clear showcase of their services.

  • Increase Instagram traffic.

  • Elegant and modern design.

What we noticed:

  • Their current homepage was not effectively showcasing what they wanted.

  • Many customers were misunderstanding what they mainly offered.

  • They wanted to increase the traffic to their Instagram, where they featured most of their past projects.

Provided two versions to the client as shown in the embedded Figma file. Feedback from the meeting:

  • Carousel View in the 1st section

  • Discussed more on how to showcase all the services

  • Insta gallery in 1st draft looks appealing

  • Amazing work on the envelope idea

  • Loved the idea to add their Etsy service on

Final Prototype

What I learnt

On this project I had the opportunity to work closely with our client ‘Happy Birthday SOS’. We were provided with a set of requirements which we followed throughout each step of the UX and UI experience. Emphasis on this project go on the importance of the way we communicate design decisions to highlight business goals.

Working for years in design simply makes you more motivated to grow more and more, share knowledge and be open to accept feedback as a way of perfecting your outcome!
